• Phil
    Phil Owner/Founder

As someone who has always enjoyed carpentry and handyman work, Phil found his passion in home-improvement, gaining repeat customers along the way.  He believes that fair pricing and customer satisfaction are key components to a successful business. Phil is committed to seeing his business grow, yet wants to treat each customer individually as a part of the Highland Contractor family. He and his constant companion Max (his Beagle/Corgi Mix who you may have seen in our commercials and on our billboard) reside in the city of Rochester.

  • Kate
    Kate Office Manager

A graduate of SUNY Brockport, Kate manages the office and is responsible for everything from accounting and human resources to marketing. Coming from a large retailer, Kate believes in the small-business atmosphere because it is “more of a family, everyone is flexible and dedicated”.  We love Kate’s super-organization skills and of course, Albus, her beloved office-mate.

  • Marshall
    Marshall Sales

With over 20 years of experience in sales/marketing, Marshall has been with Highland Contractors for a little over a year and is originally from Rochester.  He enjoys golfing, fishing and holds a 3rd degree Black Belt. Marshall says that he wouldn’t be working anywhere that “didn’t believe in quality installation, fair pricing and integrity”.

Hank brings over a decade of experience in contracting and has been with Highland Contractors since 2009. He graduated with a degree in Communications, which serves him well in his position in sales. He really enjoys meeting new people, making new contacts and the friendships that develop as a result. Hank says Highland Contractors is “very family-oriented. We look out for each other and Phil is great, very helpful”. Hank resides in Greece, NY with his wife and two boys.

  • Chris
    Chris Sales

As a former installation expert for over a decade, Chris has a breadth of experience in the “field”, including signature jobs like repairing the carousel’s roof at Seabreeze.  His technical knowledge and his attention to quality supplement his outgoing personality and desire to help people.  Chris, like many employees at Highland Contractors, really appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere.  He lives with his wife and 3 kids in Webster.

  • The Bosses
    The Bosses Mascots

We love our faithful office companions!  Phil’s Max (Beagle) is our favorite mascot, TV celebrity, and designated eater.  We’ve all learned the hard way that any unattended lunches are not safe when Max is around – even in the trucks!  Kate’s playful Albus (Yellow Lab) is always there to greet staff and customers at the door.  His bark is loud but he’s just a big, sweet, loveable boy.  Melisa’s big girl Sally (Dane/Lab) doesn’t move around much, but she’ll always get up for a little love.  Any day is better spent with the pups!
